- GPS tracking devices have become a valuable tool for those with
a need to document the activities of others. In some cases, the
devices provide enough information for you to act upon without
further evidence; at other times, they provide preliminary
evidence for use by a Private Detective who will then go out and
obtain videotaped documentation of an activity. In both cases,
the cost savings over hiring a Private Detective to conduct
surveillance will oftentimes end up paying for the unit several
