Blue Heron Investigations is not a spy shop. However, we understand that many people choose to resolve their problems on their own. For some, it's a matter of privacy. For others, it's to save money. For those reasons, we're offering a variety of investigative equipment that you may find useful; there are no handcuffs, spy monoculars, fake PI badges, or other such nonsense being sold here – only equipment and supplies that we believe in. By purchasing equipment through us, You'll be saving yourself the time and headache of having to educate yourself regarding various specs related to the equipment you're interested in. For example, do you know what lux rating you need for a covert video camera used in dimly lit situations? Do you know what the difference is between a CMOS camera and a CCD camera when it comes to image quality? What about the pros and cons of various GPS vehicle tracking devices? We do – only because we've invested the time (and in a lot of cases – money) in research and experimentation. In addition to saving yourself the time and headache of educating yourself regarding various equipment, you can save yourself the expense of buying a lot of the junk that's currently being offered on the internet today. You can assume that we've already done the trial and error for you. For that reason, you're unlikely to find a lot of options here. If we've found, through our own experience that "camera A" is the best camera for "situation A", then we're unlikely to even offer "camera B, C or D." Same thing with tracking devices - why offer choices when our own research has shown the clear winner in any given category? One choice for any given situation; how easy is that?
